Pocoyo by Guillermo Gracia Carsi, Luis Gallego and David Cantolla

I love the aesthetics of this children's programme. It is stunning. So simple, but so cleverly done. There is no background, so the characters operate on a blank canvas. Using cinematic tricks they establish narrative and movement. Shadows beneath the characters and objects create the illusion of the ground.
