Basic Narrative Ideas

Ring o Rosies

1. Could be interpreted quite sinisterly, with the reference of 'death' - "we all fall down". A dark and negative approach could be taken - perhaps 2 or 3 characters literally die at the end after spinning in a circle too fast or being poisoned.

2."A-tishoo" reminds me of hay-fever. Can be quite humorous, perhaps a character is surrounded by flowers and tries to escape them- doesn't realize he has a pocket full of posies.

3. Could be quite abstract, like having rings of flowers circling in a dynamic way. Maybe make them flow and dance and fall down at the end.

Humpty Dumpty

1. I wouldn't want to take the obvious approach and have another egg as Humpty dumpty. Perhaps the character could be quite a clumsy character or even drunk? Thus showing the consequences of drinking.

2. Maybe Humpty Dumpty gets pushed!

3. Humpty Dumpty was a spy. But not a very good spy... kind of like Johnny English. His mission - to get into a secret facility. But he can't overcome his first obstacle. The wall. Embarrassingly he can't get over and gives up.

Little Miss Muffet

1. I think that Miss Muffet just didn't like her curds and whey and dropped it deliberately and blamed it on the spider.

2. A really evil spider wants to practice it's scary faces, sees a girl as a good target but can't scare her.  in the end the spider jumps into her bowl, miss muffet gets mad and throws the bowl and walks away.

3. Little Miss Muffet gets scared by a spider. Not just any spider, a ginormous spider, 3 buildings tall. All the spider wanted was a friend.
